“Traditional Kitchen Wisdom”

by debra on Sep.03, 2010, under Press Releases

Back to Basics: Traditional Kitchen Wisdom – This book has easy-to-follow, step-by-step, lovely illustrated instructions and detailed information about specific fruit and vegetable preparation that will enable anyone to create a truly self-sustainable lifestyle. It is a joy to read this time of year.

One of the interesting recipes in the book is for a “Berry Refresher”.  It calls for combining berries, cider vinegar, sweetener and water.  Sounds a lot like our old Vermont “Switchel”.
